First Lady as an action figure?

by
bigthinkeditor
October 18, 2009

"A toy company, Jailbreak Toys, has released a series of action figures based on US President Barack Obama's wife Michelle. Mr Obama was paid the same dubious compliment earlier this year. The six-inch high dolls look remarkably little like Mrs Obama, although in fairness they have got the dresses about right. They are particularly notable for the shark-like grin they have given the usually attractive First Lady," according to The Telegraph. But it is not the first time that the Obama family has been represented strangely apparently. The paper cites Ben & Jerry’s "Yes Pecan" ice cream, Obama and McCain paper dolls, a naked painting of the President riding a unicorn and the Obama’s girls in beanie baby form as among the more bizarre representations of them.
