There have been numerous reports on Yemen in English that have been released in recent days – some good and some not so good – but few on which I have had much time to comment. One exception is this short article from Joost Hiltermann. Although I might quibble with a few small details, I think this is an excellent overview and brings some much needed soberness – from a publication that prides itself on providing this – to an issue that is often misunderstood.
