Of great curiosity this time will be whether or not the organization addresses al-Awfi’s confessions, whether it actually puts out its own fatawa or whether it continues to crib some from earlier writers and what, if anything, it has to say on the south.I doubt we will hear much on the last point – particularly given al-Wahayshi’s latest statement, but the betting windows are still open.
