In my continuing efforts to turn Waq al-waq into my own personal calendar - it tends to work better than the plastic bags and scraps of receipts and newspapers I use for notes in Yemen - I am linking to the following event from the New America Foundation and the NYU Center on Law and Security in Washington DC next week.

The event, al-Qaeda and its Allies: The Endgame, features a number of prominent speakers as well as few minor ones, of which I am one of the latter. Should be informative for those with time to come out.
