George Bonanno is an internationally known expert on trauma and resilience. He is a Professor of Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University and has studied resilience in the face of trauma, loss and other kinds of adversity for over three decades. He was honored recently with lifetime achievement awards from the Association for Psychological Science (APS), the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) and the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA). His most recent book is The End of Trauma (2021, Basic Books).
