Sara Imari Walker is an American theoretical physicist, astrobiologist, and author whose work focuses on the origins of life, artificial life, and the detection of life on other worlds. She is Deputy Director of the Beyond Center for Fundamental Concepts in Science at Arizona State University and Associate Director of the ASU-Santa Fe Institute Center for Biosocial Complex Systems.
