Tom Hardin

Corporate Trainer and Keynote Speaker

A man in a gray plaid blazer and black shirt stands outside with his hands in his pockets, smiling at the camera. Brick buildings and trees are visible in the background.

Tom Hardin spent much of his early career as a financial analyst in the United States. As part of a cooperation agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice, Hardin assisted the FBI in understanding insider trading, wearing a wire as "TipperX" more than 40 times during Operation Perfect Hedge. He was later invited by the FBI to speak with rookie agents and has since delivered 600+ keynotes as a leadership speaker, corporate trainer, and board advisor focused on behavioral ethics, compliance, and organizational culture risk. A graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an ultramarathoner, Hardin lives in New Jersey with his wife of 20 years and their two teenage daughters.

A simple illustration of a house with two windows featuring cartoon eyes, set against a black background with minimal greenery—perfect for fans of that "wired on Wall Street" aesthetic.
In this excerpt from Wired on Wall Street, Tom Hardin (aka "Tipper X") shares how he began gathering intelligence on insider trading for the FBI.
