The man The Wall Street Journal has called “arguably the country’s leading banking lawyer”Henry Rodgin (“Rodge”) Cohen has also been called “the trauma surgeon of Wall Street.” The mantle is well-deserved, as Cohen has been a key player in the resolution of many major bank failures in recent decades, including Lehman Brothers.
In his recent Big Think interview, Cohen spoke about the ethical considerations he had to contend with in the years leading up to the financial crisis, and the set of ethical obligations and limitations of a corporate lawyer.
