In Waq al-waq’s continued attempt to bring you a better, sleeker blog I have added a new section entitled aptly: “Sites of Interest.” The first entry is the website of Yemen’s ambassador to Lebanon and former member of parliament for the GPC, Faisal Amin Abu Ra’s. Faisal is a good friend and I wrote about a qat chew at his house for the American Interest back in 2006.

Of immediate interest is his eloquent resignation speech from parliament in which he claimed the government was “drowning in corruption.”
