Al-Tagheer is reporting that the delegation under the command of ‘Abd al-Qadir Hilal brokered an initial agreement yesterday between the protesters and the army, which was supposed to be implemented today.
Reporting is still sketchy, and so far it is impossible to see what the impact, if any, has been. President Salih is maintaining that there is no need need to worry.
In English, Robert Worth has a good overview in the New York Times, in which he also kindly links to Waq al-waq.
